Dr. Jorge Guzman

Dr. Jorge Guzman is an assistant professor at the Management Division in Columbia Business School. Jorge received his PhD from the Sloan School of Management  at MIT, and was previously a postdoc at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and a lecturer at MIT Sloan.  His research focuses on entrepreneurship policy, regional entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial strategy.  He was previously involved in the Boston startup ecosystem, and has been an advisor to numerous startups on varied topics, and to regional and national policy agencies on the design of entrepreneurship ecosystems.

Austin Milan (EMBA’23 Saturday) is a Physician Assistant at Hospital for Special Surgery and a faculty member at Tufts University School of Medicine. He has spent the last decade working as a clinician for various hospitals and healthcare systems. His entrepreneurial interests include biotechnology and healthcare-related ventures.

Graham Rowe (EMBA’23 Saturday) is a Sales Manager at monday.com. After moving from Jamaica in 2014, he has spent the last 8 years working in the client-facing/revenue side of the US tech sector. He has worked at multiple unicorns [Uber and monday.com], and has a passion for tech startups. His personal interests include entrepreneurship, poker and history.

Diana Sull (EMBA'23 Saturday) is a Global Product Marketing Manager at TikTok. She spent the last 10+ years in product marketing and digital marketing at a variety of ad tech companies and advertising agencies. She is passionate about storytelling and entrepreneurship.

Swayam Thacker, VP ***

Swayam Thacker (EMBA’23 Saturday) is a client-facing quant trader at Goldman Sachs, focusing on the Foreign exchange, Futures and Digital assets markets. He has spent the last decade working at different investment banks across various roles in electronic trading. Having had experience across the tech and finance industries, in India and the U.S., Swayam is interested in further pursuing entrepreneurship across Developed and Emerging markets.

Ilya Weinstein, ED of Strategy and Operations

Ilya Weinstein (EMBA ‘23 Saturday) is Vice President at Bellwether Enterprise, a national commercial mortgage banking company. Ilya has spent the last 10+ years working in real estate finance, with a specific focus in affordable housing. With the emergence of proptech, he’s become increasingly interested in how technology and data can be leveraged to make cities more equitable, livable, and sustainable.
